Advantages of commercial property investment

Income Potential

Investment in commercial property offers higher returns compared to residential property. Owners of commercial property can receive up to 12% of the purchase price in rental revenue. Residential property brings returns of only about 4%.

Price evaluations

Commercial properties are much easier to evaluate than other types of properties. It’s simpler to estimate the income-generating potential of the building by requesting an income statement from the current owner.

Lease Terms

Commercial property owners have the advantage of being able to demand long-term leases. Shorter-term leases are also enforced at the discretion of the property owner.

SAPOA Student Bursaries are designed to provide students with convenient access to the education they need to excel in the commercial property industry.

Through their studies, students will be able to gain the necessary skills to work in the commercial property sector while also improving operations.
