What is the difference between the Motor Happy Motor Plan Maintenance Plan and the Service Plan?
The Maintenance Plan pays for everything included in the Service Plan, plus the replacement, maintenance or repair of specific wear and tear parts when necessary.
The Service Plan pays for the cost of servicing your car in line with the manufacturer’s specified guidelines.
A motor warranty plan is especially for mechanical breakdown claims. Warranties are essentially there to “assist” if your vehicle has a mechanical breakdown.
Also known as mechanical insurance, motor warranty plans are policies that cover the costs of specified mechanical problems as and when they happen.
It’s important to keep in mind that your warranty could be invalid if you replace parts yourself and that you can only claim for one incident at a time.
Before granting an extended warranty, manufacturers will take into account a vehicle’s age and mileage. For an older vehicle, it’s advisable to consider a warranty to cover unforeseen repairs.
