Woolworths is a leading retail outlet, known for providing South Africans with quality products and services for a number of decades. As a way of offering better services to customers, Woolworths has a store card available which can be used for online shopping or for shopping at any Woolworths store.
The Woolworths Store Card allows you to be part of the WRewards programme, while also giving you access to a range of Woolworths online shopping opportunities and savings.
How the Woolworths Card application works:
To qualify, you must complete and give in an application. Woolworths will decide the amount of credit and they will let you know what your credit limit is. To apply, just complete the application form online or pick up a brochure and application form next time you’re at Woolworths and hand it in there or simply fax it to 021 407 5850.
Only you and no-one else can accept the quotation for the Woolworths Store Card. The telephone conversation will be recorded and can serve as legal proof of the agreement.
To activate your card you will need to go to a store and you will be required to bring your South African ID.
What are the qualifying criteria?
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid South African ID number
- Earn at least R2000 per month
- Provide your 3 latest payslips or your last 3 months’ bank statements
Once you’ve completed your Woolworths card application and you’ve been approved, you can also make use of the handy Woolworths app.
By using the Woolworths app you can access your Woolworths account information on your mobile device wherever you are. You can use the app to view your current limit, available funds and your current balance.
